In the Christmas holidays Stephanie wants to introduce the new man in her life to her family: Laird. The overprotective Ned (Bryan Cranston) travels together with wife Barb and her son Scotty to the west coast. The good-natured, but extremely unusual Internet multi-millionaire Laird is not like the man who father Ned has desired for his daughter.
